How Many Times One Can Apply for GATE 2013?

Hello GATE applicants, many of us having problems while applying for GATE 2013. It is because they introduced many new things in GATE 2013 application process. Try to read the instructions for GATE 2013 online application carefully two to three times and understand it clearly, proceeding without understanding will cause many problem. Main problem is GATE 2013 application will get rejected. So our whole effort is waste and we have to wait for another year to appear GATE exam next time. But one good thing is GATE organizers never eliminate any one intentionally. Even they may give us one more chance to correct our mistakes. Any how try to apply without any mistakes. If you did any mistakes before payment of your GATE 2013 application fee, then there is no problem. You can apply with another email id. Before paying the fee one surely can register more than once till he gets registered with successfully fulfilling all requirements. But paying two times is a foolish thing so if you have paid for first registered form no need to take headache as  there may be a provision for correction like last year. Applications are not rejected on the basis of registering
more than once as anybody can register via fake information, it’s only after mailing the hard-copy registration completes. Hope this information provide you a better understanding and leave you fear free.

Advanced Engineering Mathematics By Erwin Kreyszig

Advanced Engineering Mathematics
John Wiley & Sons | 2005-12-29 | ISBN: 0471728977 | 1232 pages | PDF | 18.27 MB
This is an absolutely great book for your GATE mathematics preparation. At over 1000 pages it’s a real opus – covering everything from ordinary differential equations, linear algebra, vector calculus, fourier analysis, complex analysis and probability. It’s exceptionally well written – with plenty of clear examples, diagrams and exercises – constantly cross referencing back to the particular idea or formula that an example is employing. It presupposes only elementary calculus – and so makes an excellent university textbook to accompany study, or as a self-study book to further your maths knowledge.

GATE Question Of The Day – Digital Electronics

For the circuit shown in the figure, D has a transition from 0 to 1 after CLK changes from 1 to 0. Assume gate delays to be negligible

Which of the following statements is true?

            (A)        Q goes to 1 at the CLK transition and stays at 1
            (B)        Q goes to 0 at the CLK transition and stays at 0
            (C)        Q goes to 1 at the CLK transition and goes to 0 when D goes to 1
            (D)        Q goes to 0 at the CLK transition and goes to 1 when D goes to 1
Pick up the correct options guys just a simple thing for my well wished friend(s)!

Topic wise Weightage and Analysis of GATE 2012 EEE Paper

The candidates who appeared for GATE 2012 EE branch were in for a surprise, an unpleasant one though. There were no ‘expected’ questions which happen in an exam and the questions were designed to test not just the conceptual Knowledge of the candidates, but in-depth understanding of the subject – coupled with extensive practice. The students who came out of the exam hall felt that paper was difficult than usual. An unusual thing about the EE GATE Paper this time, was in topics – Networks, Signals & Systems, Control Systems, Analog and Digital Electronics and Engineering Mathematics, ECE & EEE got the same questions. Thus in topics like Signals & Systems and

Topic wise Weightage and Analysis of GATE 2012 CSE Paper

The overall impression which one gets from analyzing GATE-2012 CSE Paper is that in terms of the level of difficulty, it is same as that of the previous two years. The weight age given to subjects were more or less evenly distributed with a notable exception in case of Software engineering and Web Technologies where there were no questions. While there was no element of surprise in the difficulty level of the paper, the questions asked were tricky and misleading. The questions on Computer Networks in particular would lure the student into a trap of attempting them and spending a lot of time. In last few GATE papers, GA was given for 15 marks; Engineering Mathematics was given for 10 marks. But this time as specified in the GATE 2012 Information Brochure, GA and E.M both were given for 15 + 15 = 30 marks. The General Aptitude section of GATE 2012 provided much need avenues to increase overall GATE Score of the candidate. Most of the questions were easy or of Moderate Level of difficulty .A candidate who has put in the required effort in practicing General Aptitude can score upto (10-12) marks in this section and
this can go a long way in helping him meet the basic qualifying criteria. The candidates who found the level of difficulty of Engineering stream and Engineering Maths questions high would have gotthe much needed relief they were looking for in their quest to increase the GATE Score. A candidate scoring (50-55) can expect a rank of 1000 and below.
